terms

by using your lightsocket account, you agree to the following terms.

account & security​

when you purchase lightsocket, you get an account. you may not share your account with anyone else. if you believe your account has been compromised, you should contact support immediately. you are responsible for keeping your account secure.
you are not allowed to share program files with anyone.

payment​

you agree to pay the price listed on the purchase page. do not charge back your payment. if you do, your account will be suspended.

refunds​

you are entitled to a refund within 3 days of purchase provided that one or more of the following conditions are met:

  • you have not used the program (logged in with your account)
  • you have not been able to use the program due to technical issues
  • you have not been able to use the program due to a lack of support/usage help
  • you have not been banned from the program for breaking the terms

refunds must be requested via a support ticket. thank you.

abuse​

you may not:

  • attempt to crack the program
  • hurt the program's reputation
  • use the program for illegal activities
  • abuse the backend server

you may:

  • modify your build of the program for personal use
  • use the program in a media setting (streaming, recording, etc.)

external reputation​

i do not provide service to child predators, pedophiles, zoophiles, or extorters. this is not an exhaustive list.

you will be banned without warning and your data will be sent to the appropriate authorities if nessecary. if you have an issue with me sending your data to the feds, then don't do that.

i review all purchases and reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason.

termination​

if you do not follow these terms, i may ban your account. this means you will lose access to the program and will not be refunded.
